Seng Bunveng “Aja A”

Seng Bunveng was the owner of the 23rd October 1991 Driving School before becoming the owner of ABC Radio in 2008. While the radio is mainly broadcasting news about road traffic and music, the tone is changing when elections are approaching. On air, Mr. Seng Bunveng is known as “Aja A”. Shortly before the 2013 election, Seng Bunveng was accused by the government to violate the media election rules in his morning show as he warned his listeners of a Coup if the opposition party was the winner. In September the same year, he called for a mass rally to push the opposition party to attend the opening session of the National Assembly. The opposition party had announced it would boycott it.
